T&Cs
1,Nanae Takanashi Photography keeps client files for up to 1 year after the photography session, and is not liable for any claims after this period. All client files will be deleted and backups will be purged after this period.
2,An online gallery of low resolution pictures will be created and made available for viewing to the client no more than 2 weeks after the photo session. After the client selects the photos, Nanae Takanashi Photography will provide the download link which contains the high-resolution images the client selected. This link will be made available within 2 weeks from the day client selected their images. This download link to the gallery will then be available for 30 days, please be prepared to download within that time.
3,Deposit
The signed contract and 50% of the total package cost are required to book any session or package.The remainder of the package amount is due the day of the scheduled session, prior to the start of shooting. In the event of a canceled session until 3 days before, this deposit is non-refundable. Nanae Takanashi Photography reserves the right to refuse services/products if the payment arrangements have not been met unless prior arrangements have been made.
4,Weather policy
If the CLIENT has been contacted and advised to reschedule due to the photographer’s concerns about weather, and the CLIENT decides to go ahead and reschedule, the client will not be charged to do so. The CLIENT will then be put on first alert for their session and able to have their session even on non-session days (where Nanae Takanashi Photography is available to do so).
5,The retainer may be transferred ONCE only to a rescheduled date under the following circumstances only. A minimum of 48 hours written email notice MUST be provided.
·Genuine illness
·Complications at birth requiring extended hospital stay overlapping with a booked newborn photography date/time.
6,Payment methods
Payment shall be made by bank transfer or credit card payment by the day of the scheduled session.
7,Limit of Liability
In the unlikely event that the photographer is injured or becomes too ill to photograph the session, a reshoot will be scheduled for the next available time slot. Although care will be taken with digital files, the photographer limits any liability for loss, damage or failure to deliver photographs for any reason of photographer’ s non-performance caused by any force or similar circumstances, illness, accident or any cause beyond their control.It is client’ s responsibility to take care of the children; Nanae Takanashi Photography will not accept any responsibility due to any accident to children or damage to public or private properties during the photo shooting or consultation session.
8,Travel
A travel fee of $50 is payable for any travel greater than 30kms from BELAIR area.
9,High-Resolution: Images deliverable in High-Resolution (or known as High-Res) are 300DPI with 3000 Pixels in the longest edge.
10,It is understood that no other photographer, amateur or professional, shall be allowed to photograph at the venue (wedding, portrait, family photography , etc.) while Nanae Takanashi Photography is working unless it is organized by Nanae Takanashi Photography, and that any breach of this agreement will constitute a reason for non-completion of the job with no liability to the Photographer and loss of initial deposit by the client.
11,All deliverable images as per contract will have standard image editing (including: light and colour adjustments). Any extra edits requested by the client will cost the client $35 per image if accepted by the Photographer. extra image adjustments include (change the size of the body or parts of the body, replace parts of the body from another image, change the colour of parts of the body, extra skin retouch, replace or swap background). It is also understood that unless hair and makeup is included in the contract,
Photographer is not responsible to fix hair or skin, or makeup problems.
12,The negatives/digital files remain the property of Nanae Takanashi Photography and will be kept on file for a period of 12 months.
Only edited jpeg files will be delivered to the Client, no Raw files or CR2 files will be supplied by the Photographer.
